 Big Sur’s tranquil and serene surroundings transport you back to a gentler time when the earth was peaceful and a person could walk in solitude. Our 62 guest bungalows co-exist with stately redwoods and live oaks. Step out of your sizable rooms and onto your private deck or porch while the aroma of California laurels invade your senses. As you look across the hillside to the main lodge you’ll see restaurants, gift shops, grocery store and a deli café, all within easy walking distance.
Several suites have wood-burning fireplaces which come with bundled wood, that is replenished daily. All kitchens are fully equipped with utensils, pans, dishes, glasses, coffee maker, propane stove and refrigerator. Everything is ready to go, just bring food.
Big Sur Lodge is careful to preserve the fragile eco-system of our natural settings and out of respect for Mother Nature and our other guests we do not allow pets on the property and surrounding grounds.
