Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park Temporarily Closed

Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park will be closed April 25th-28th and reopen on Friday, April 29th for paving and striping. The Park will have employees at the four-way stop just past the entrance turning Park guests away.

Big Sur Lodge restaurant/café, front desk, and retail store will remain open. However, the parking lot will be closed for a brief time (that has not been started yet). Hiking trails are closed in Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park during this time. We recommend you explore Andrew Molera State Park and Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park for hiking.
